Ten on 10: Boring September Edition
I had wonderful plans on my calendar today; a craft day with my MOMS Club friends, a playdate with Jayce's best friend after school, time with my neighbor helping her pack. Well, a sick kid always throws a wrench in the best laid plans.
Jocelyn had a drippy nose on Tuesday but seemed better yesterday. Although, she did take an epic nap that was unusual for her, now that I think about it. At any rate, I think she has a full blown virus now. She was running a bit of a fever and had some nasal drainage. She cried and said she couldn't go to preschool and she just wanted me. Cuddling on the couch is what we did all day.
It was a real challenge to find beauty in a sick day at home but I tried my best :)

(That's the dog's blanket, btw. He chews on it and leaves our stuff alone. Win/win.)
It was a rather unproductive day as far as days go, but sometimes you need that. No schedules, no commitments, no rushing, no pressure. We cuddled and played with stickers and watched TV. I think in Jocelyn's eyes, the day was perfect :)

I always love these posts! You are great at making artwork out of little bits of ordinary days.
