At the Car Wash
With all the yellow pollen floating around in the sky, Brittany and I were thrilled to get Auto Spa treatment on both of our cars over the weekend. And the kids wanted any excuse to don bathing suits in early April :)
Now, some people use sponges.
But did you know that you can forgoe the expense and just use your hands?
Of course, that might not be the best method. Especially if you have to touch your face.
Thank goodness mom was near by!
I wish I could say that my car returned to South Carolina looking gorgeous. In this Spring season, you'd have to wash your car every 5 minutes to keep the yellow off. Here's hoping that the pollen count dies back down soon!

That looks like a lot of fun. My son has been asking to help wash the car, but our car is actually parked in a covered car park where it gets pretty cold with the sea air blowing in. (Yes, it's still pretty chilly over here for some reason. Cold, damp, and chilly.)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an amazing amount of pollen. Makes my eyes itch just thinking about it. I can't tell you how much I adore that haircut on Jaina. I forgot to comment before but I love, love, love it.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! Looks like y'all had a great time! I actually have a post I've been working on today about the same thing...me and my little guy washing the car. :) Too funny. Only I might as well not have bothered because it's totally yellow again. Pollen is so messy! :)
ReplyDeleteI've had my windows open and everything in my house is covered! I bet they had a ball! I need to turn my loose with a hose and their bare hands! lol
ReplyDeleteSo you guys don't have child labor laws? ;) Of course I am kidding!! Send them over here when they're done!
ReplyDeleteI live in South Carolina too. Honey I washed my car and there was pollen on it before I got home. So now I resort to just "spraying" it daily. I know exactly what ya mean!!
